All of These Lines: A Morning of Remembrance

The Wave of Light
Every year on 15 October, the pregnancy loss community recognises Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Day. This is marked by the Wave of Light. Loss parents around the world light a candle at 7pm local time and send the candlelight around the world in recognition and solidarity with loss parents everywhere.
This year I wanted to recognise it differently. A room. Real people. A morning where we get to be together in community. This is how this morning was born.
We'll start with a few lines from my book, All of These Lines. We'll write letters to the babies you hold in your hearts not your arms. We’ll have the opportunity to say their names and then light a candle together. After that, tea, scones, and time to just sit in a room with people who understand without you having to explain a thing.
This is neither a workshop, nor group therapy. It's a morning set aside, on purpose, for something that is seldom given the space it needs to breathe.
The morning is open to anyone who has experienced pregnancy or infant loss - whether recently or decades ago.
Come on your own, with a partner or bring a friend who has shared your journey.
A welcoming space is guaranteed.

I'm Bianca Johnson
Empowerment coach, author, and holder of space for loss parents finding their way back to themselves.
I've experienced 6 pregnancy losses across 8 pregnancies over 14 years. I've birthed 2 rainbow babies. I've lost myself completely and found my way back (slowly, imperfectly, with a LOT of support).
I wrote All of These Lines: My Story of Pregnancy, Loss and Hope to share the tools that helped me heal. I founded Baby Bryce Foundation and Rainbow Hope South Africa to support loss parents who feel alone. And now I coach loss mums and parents through the deep work of reconnecting with who they are after loss has shattered everything.
I know this journey intimately. And I'd be honoured to guide this morning.
