About the event

Based on the Lunch and Learn concept started by WAHM WorkSpace in Durban pre-Covid, these are casual events that include an element of learning and mostly focus on connection. Bianca is a master at making tech easy to understand, and at connecting people. These brunches will be an opportunity to enjoy a tasty bite to eat, connect with other business owners and learn something that will empower you to feel more at home in the online space.

About Bianca

I am an avid networker, having served on the committee for KZN Women in Business. I am the CEO of a tech virtual assistant business and offer training for online business owners.

I am passionate about empowerment, and love supporting women and online business owners to feel at home in the online space. As a multiple loss-mom, I provide support for a large community of women who have lost a pregnancy.

I am a budding author, who hopes to publish my first book in 2024.

I have recently moved to the KZN Midlands from Durban, and looking forward to connecting with business owners locally.

The schedule

We will start each brunch with a round table introduction. We'll place our order and then while the kitchen makes our yummy food and drinks, we'll focus on our learning topic for the day.

We'll ensure that this is completed before the food is ready, so that while we eat we can discuss and get to know each other.

We will do everything to ensure that we finish on time.

Piggly Wiggly Coffee Shop is a local Midlands' coffee shop visit for delicious breakfast, lunch, light meals and cakes. A friendly staff are keen to please. No matter the weather this is the best place in the Midlands to hang out.

Choosing a word (or phrase) for the year has been one of the things that has really helped me to stay aligned with what I am trying to achieve each year. It serves, not only as a guide, but as a theme for the year. I have been choosing a phrase or word of the year since 2017.

For the training part of the November brunch we will go through some ideas and methods for choosing a word of the year. I'll tell my personal story of choosing a word, and give you ideas for choosing your word for 2024. Let's go into the holiday season, already with a focus for 2024.
